Detector used Detector(s) Used - Tesoro Deleon, Tesoro Tejon

Posted Apr 14, 2008, 05:31:03 pm

Went to a nearby school and spent about an hour and a half detecting. Trying to figure out my new Deleon. I had a signal that bounced between zinc and silver and it turned out to be a .925 ring!!! I was so psyched!! I also found about 83 cents but mostly dug everything to try and figure out what the machine was telling me!! Thats what I was told to do to find the gold so I am listening!! I would post pics but have not gotten my new digital yet maybe go get it tommorrow!!

WTG Thomas. You'll have that Deleon zinging before long. Keep at it.

You will find the more you use the D the better it gets.

I still love mine I just don't get to hunt often enough to use it much.

Good job

The Deleon was on my short list of detectors to buy.  I couldn't decide between the White's MXT, Minelab Sovereign GT, and the Deleon.  I ended up going with the GT just for what I'd heard about it's depth.  How do you like your machine so far and what kind of depth have you seen?

Depth is really good with this machine!!! I have gotten dimes at around 7 or 8 inches if that tells ya anything. I was actually thinking of getting rid of it after my first time out, but now I would have to say this detector is a keeper for sure. I love it now that I am starting to learn it more.

I have dug silver at 7-8 inches with my Deleon.  I routinely dug bigger targets that deep or a little deeper!

There is nothing wrong with that machine!
