Awesome finds and that Pillar Reale is a beauty and in nice condition from what I have seen posted, the Pillars are usually very worn due to circulation! She will clean up nicely if you choose to clean it. I clean many of my silver farm field finds with a liquid silver cleaner, dip it for a few minutes then clean it off with a soft bristle toothbrush, rinse well, dry and repeat if you want to. Nice hot spot you guys have, good luck. HH, Mike

This site once contained a Colonial bank. I heard President Washington had an account there. As Pres. Washington approached the bank teller, he stated, "Yes, kind gentlewoman, my account # is 1795...indeed, ma'am, I will withdraw a Flowing Hair half dollar today. I will save the Pillar 2-Reale for another time, thank you."

UPDATE... Here is an update on this site...I hunted here tonight with a few friends...We all found tons of buttons...Only one good coin. I think it is a Conn Copper... I only have a pic of it dirty...It was found by a friend. I will post better pix tomorrow. Here are some pix of the site also.....I spent most of my time walking the field trying to figure out the layout.

Since it is round could it be some kind of lead seal or something that has iron rusted over it???

Man, you can't swing a dead cat without hitting treasure--human-type and metal-type..
Phenomenal finds! Your 2-Reale is about 42 years too old for me to look up in my 5-pound book.
It looks like someone nailed or screwed that 1847 LC to the cabin door or something (and even chamfered the hole to countersink the screw head).
There's a recent Blues song named "I'm in the wrong business". I'm in the wrong state. But you're stuck with old Hilary and we've got that charming, elfin Jennifer Granholm, so I guess it evens out.
You're red hot, keep 'em coming!

Another awesome coin. THe 2 Reale might have stolen the show had you not found that flowing hair half. Very Sweet. Nice pictures of the site and wife. My wife is blonde too. Most of the time she doesn't come with me. Only on the one hour hunts. Bob

Great, Great finds, nothing better than hunting a relic site in a open field. Only thing that would have been better, is if the field had been worked.
Again,Congrats on some awesome finds.

Yea unfortunaly we do not have the proper lens (wide angle) to capture your ego and full 260 Lbs of sweaty flubber in one shot...Perhaps next time we can make a photo collage snaping one pic at a time...Then we can paste the 20 pix togther so people can see what you look like!

Those early PA settlers did too much and that is why coppas are found in abundance!
The Three Datectateers will miles to find the Colonial "stuff"!
