Ok, I don't spend much time looking for treasure legends and I'm probably not going to start with the Lost Dutchman mine. However, I have heard a lot of legends about it so I did a little research.

I have heard several renditions of the infamous death bed confession. I decided to focus on the one which stated that the mine lay in a canyon facing west and touched by the shadow of Weaver's needle at 4p.m.

Going off of this legend alone, I would place the mine (if it even exists) somewhere in this general vicinity.

Randy is right as far as I am concerned.
4 pm has never turned up anything year round.

I would believe the ones who have walked it.

Djui

I suspect you may be right about that. Just curious about how you came to that conclusion?
