1865 Massachusetts Charitable Mechanics Association Award Medal

Recovered on a hill under a big oak overlooking the 1630s millsite area in a small town in Massachusetts last summer. The association was founded by Paul Revere himself to promote the arts ,inventions and new modifications to progress itself.Its a third place bronze being 1 of 200. 1st. place was gold w/ 50 pcs or so, and 2nd place was silver w/ 100. Will do some research for the identity of the award medals owner and wonder if it was purposly buried at the foot of that tree?
