Mostly found great memories and had a historic hunt with my father who travelled from NY which was awesome... Wingman Tony and I had a great year... these are just my finds and he has just as much of the same... Thanks for tollerating our posts and pics all year! 2007 Highlights - Enjoy As always... thanks for looking... And Dad, when you see this, the hunt we went on was awesome! Come back and do it again... I love and miss you. Jim

Jimmy, I always enjoy your threads. Even though you know I can get on your nerves at times, you know I love you, man! You had a great year of treasure hunting...those Eagle but-tins look great! I wish you continued luck in 2008! Keep the passion high! BDD...Kirk P.S. If you can't tolerate me anymore, just click the "Ignore" but-tin. ;) I love you, man!

What a great year you had, Jim. I bet there are lots of memories tied to those finds especially when you hunt with a character like Tony.....and I imagine it was a great memory hunting with your dad. ("Hi, Mr. Montana Jim's Dad! ) Here's to 2008, may your coil pass over silver and gold...and may you make more fond treasure memories....both online and in "the real world".

Jim, It looks like you cleaned out the whole state of Montana!!! I can't believe all those bullets, and your button finds were fantastic. I remember that post when you and your Dad hunted together too. By the way, I think you and I have matching axe heads possibly. Looks just like the one I dug up last week. Thanks for your 2007 post, and as always, great CSI quality photos too. ;) Great job, Doug

I got to go on another hunt with my father in Virginia--got a little skunked, but it was fun. Those are the kinds of things I will always treasure. I even made him an 8 x 10 copy of my avatar photo and framed it for him for Christmas. So I get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see photos of you hunting with your dad too. That's a REAL treasure in this hobby. Congratulations to you, Jim, on a great 2007, and best wishes for 2008. I've enjoyed your posts as well as your friendship this year. Thank you from the bottom of my heart for both.

My finds are from different sites that were primarily U.S. Army Infantry camp and training areas... 95% of the finds can be attributed to the western Indian War Era from the 1860s through the 1890s. Too bad I am not gonna have a best of 2009... only been out once this year so far and that was in PA. I hope to make a trip in a few weeks as I have a guest will enjoy finding an Eagle button if we get lucky.
