What a great year you had, Jim.  I bet there are lots of memories tied to those finds especially when you hunt with a character like Tony.....and I imagine it was a great memory hunting with your dad.  ("Hi, Mr. Montana Jim's Dad!  Smiley Smiley)

Here's to 2008, may your coil pass over silver and gold...and may you make more fond treasure memories....both online and in "the real world".  Smiley Cool

Jim,
It looks like you cleaned out the whole state of Montana!!!  Shocked  I can't believe all those bullets, and your button finds were fantastic.
I remember that post when you and your Dad hunted together too.
By the way, I think you and I have matching axe heads possibly. Looks just like the one I dug up last week.
Thanks for your 2007 post, and as always, great CSI quality photos too.  ;)
Great job,

Kirky – Thanks Pal… you only annoy me when you try to annoy me… I’d never ignore you!  Keep digging and posting…

RELICDUDE – I’d rather dig a button than a silver dime… 

goldencoin – Your button is awesome too… I hope you find many more!

Mona Lisa - My 2007 memories are stuff of legend!  LOL    I know 2008 will be better…

Jimmatt_43 – Thanks a ton! I had a blast digging in ‘07

Crusader – That pulltab was hard to come by, I had to dig a lot of relics to find that baby! Nothing cpompares to your relics tho...

KFB – My eagle buttons can make a CW digger cry… I know    And enough square nails to build a barn!

Fossis – It’s the good times that are the real treasure… the rest of it is just – stuff.

Silverfreak – Thanks!  I never look for silver… and I so rarely find it I forget it’s even out there.  Buttons are my thing; I love ‘em.

Civilman – Nobody finds the goods like you do… I appreciate you’re comments.  You guys gonna do another chili cook-off recipe contest this year?

Doug – That hunt with Dad was priceless… I remember your loss this year with a heavy heart but know your gonna be fine.  Again – it’s the memories that mean the most.  Thanks. 

Captn_SE – I posted this crap so folks can see something besides your silver… no other reason. LMAO  Good luck in 2008!

Mac232 – Thanks!  I hope I did as much next year!  Happy Hunting 

Tenn Joe - Thanks !!

Kieser sousa – You know I lived in Rome NY for 13 years… never took advantage of the Rev War possibilities… I’ll always regret that…

Crackbadger -  I AM MONTANA JIM!   LOL  Thanks a ton…

Birdman – My bullet digs are better than working, or wheaties, to me anyways… Thanks

CarolinaDigs -  Thanks!  You have been a great 2007 sweetheart… I owe ya a big hug.

panzermeyer – I hope 2008 treats me just as good!  Thanks!

TreasureTales - Thanks Mary!  And welcome back... Smiley

I got to go on another hunt with my father in Virginia--got a little skunked, but it was fun.  Those are the kinds of things I will always treasure.  I even made him an 8 x 10 copy of my avatar photo and framed it for him for Christmas.  So I get a warm and fuzzy feeling when I see photos of you hunting with your dad too.  That's a REAL treasure in this hobby.  Congratulations to you, Jim, on a great 2007, and best wishes for 2008.  I've enjoyed your posts as well as your friendship this year.  Thank you from the bottom of my heart for both.

Thanks BB!   Too bad I am not gonna have a best of 2009... only been out once this year so far and that was in PA.  I hope to make a trip in a few weeks as I have a guest will enjoy finding an Eagle button if we get lucky.
