I have a map (digital format, .pdf/.jpg) from 1900 which shows details of an old gold producing area of Nova Scotia which hasn't been worked since early in the 20th century. I want to learn how to "overlay" the data onto modern maps (Google Earth?) so I can learn where the old workings are without having to do a lot of bushwacking.
Any ideas? Thanks!

Kevin

I found the answer to my question in Google Earth. It allows you to overlay an image file on their data. It is not easy, getting everything to line up but it will be worth the effort!
