I haven't had the time to decypher this "code". This isn't my site, I'm posting them for someone in Texas.

Thank you Randy for posting my pics.  I think I have finally figured out how to do it myself.....or at least I hope so.  Here is a few more photos.

I would appreciate any advice, information, or assistance anyone can offer.  I am in far North Texas close to the Red River and Oklahoma.  I have loads of rocks and boulders with markings, symbols, and words.  I feel like I have many tree signs on the same property but I am trying to figure out the rocks first.  My time is running short on how long I can explore here.  I need some new eyes to look at this PLEASE!  Thank you in advance for your help.

The last picture posted should be of a rock with a carving on it.  We have been told by a local Cherokee Indian Preacher that this is the signature of the Indian Chief called "Sequoyah".  He plans to take a photo before the next tribal council but so far all I have is his opinion.  He feels like they may want to obtain the rock.

Djui5, that capital "T" on the rock in the first pic is just like the one on the rock at my site.  Someone said it might mean Tobias....like the Book of Tobias in the Bible.  I have the story if you want it.  Do you have any ideas?

It's possible. I have no idea to be honest. Here is a link to the book of Tobias. Read it and see if it applies anywhere:

The first picture is to the west of tree with the "heart".  I haven't figured it out but it is basically the last one in a series of tree signs.  It has a sight hole in it.  Also, the tree with the heart has an X at the top right of the heart.

re the last pic. You have to admit that when the jesuits doodle danced with trees, they really doodled,      By the way, all the above photos of rocks are jesuit rocks , and recommend you dont take notice of the graffiti.

I did notice the backward S, but was hoping that improving the image balance would get more of it visible. Some details are still hard to make out.

Red_Desert:
Springfield posted what the saying is on your rock.  It says, "What does that show."   As for the backward "S"s,  in colonial days the "S" was often printed backwards with no special reasons.

Using the simple alphabet code that was prevalent in KGC usage ...
"T" has a value of 20.

Just something to try
Look also at the Basic signs thread and grab a copy of the alphabet code that is posted there for the Spanish equivalent.

"But not everybody lives."

From the first pic try one of these:
1)  15+2 West = either 17 degrees west or 17 paces west
2)  15 paces SouthWest. ( the backwards "S" could be a 2 or S. The "E" looks more like a 15 with a plus sign following it )
Notice the W has dots on it's points, and the backwards "S" has one also.

That line carved above the last letters pointing up and to the right might be one of these directions.

Actuallly That line carved above the last letters pointing up and to the right is one of these directions.
That line is pointing southwest on a compass.  Look closly at it, there is a compass image slightly tilted counterclockwise underneath the line. You can see the dots used for N, E, S, W. Look at Red Desert's last large pic of it.  Some of the points of the compass appear white. It points to the letter "o" in the "DO" which is actually a star inside a circle.

There are things that say the opposite, NE is the direction too, if they were really tricky about it. So either SW or NE 15 units (I'd try paces first).

Here's more.  The little green "s" is a 5 or s.     Don't know what the x5 or xs means. There are more numbers. It may be too eroded and illegible, need another picture.
It sort of all looks like   W 15' + S    which is a compass bearing.

Hey Short Stack
That is some cool stuff. But I do not see how that help me .sorry. Are you saying the rock carvings are Spanish ? The map rock was buried may be a foot at the most it has all the AAAA,s on it . I think it is Spanish . There was suppots to be a Spanish mission close by 20 miles or so. Some one found a brass cannon ball there. some one told me the turtle was really old. Older than Spanish it has a four leaf clover on it,s back the clover is 10"x10" or so .
Thanks JMC

All I see are natural formations. But then again, that is usually all I see in these types of photos. No imagination I guess. A couple of years back someone posted on this site some pictures of trees. Hundreds of people swore they could see pygmy sized confederate soldiers frolicking in the branches. I couldn't see that either. I just don't have the gift apparently.

Looks like a nice spot to metal detect though.

Hello my friends, I can not see markings.it can be very tricky. Erosion can play tricks on your vision.if your not sure just take a picture but don't let it.boge you down.try too also look for shadowed signs that are large and distant.then go to the site and look for smaller markings.good luck.

Your last photo looks like a cache that may have been moved from in front of the big rock. It looks like ground was displaced there. The rock I circled may have info on it leading you to where it was moved to. I'd look closely at whats on "ridgeline" top of it, and what's on the other side of it.  Worth a try anyways. It looks to me like a pointer, with another rock pointing it out (blue arrow) from your photo angle.
