1674 1 Real (Potosi mint) is correct... Two dates visible, actually - date between the pillars and date below the cross are both clear. Solid piece, no cleaning needed beyond the brushing off of that loose dirt.

What region was it found in?

1674 1 Real (Potosi mint) is correct... Two dates visible, actually - date between the pillars and date below the cross are both clear. Solid piece, no cleaning needed beyond the brushing off of that loose dirt.

What region was it found in?

Thanks for the confirmation.  Yeah, the pictures do this coin no justice...it is in amazing condition with very clear details.  I'll get some better pics up on Monday.
