These were found on our fathers property. Anyone have a clue what they mean? The pic with the dates wouldn't show with a camera, so it was outlined with chauk. This is on the top of a mountain. The one that looks like an anchor is carved in granite about 1 1/2" deep. Any input would be appreciated.

who would have thought two of these would pop up in the same week.
That anchor sign is back to back Js as in Jesse james as well.

Protect this brother, don't share it.
Unless you can get LOTS of money for the location and a % of the cache.

Most of the initials on the rock matches the initials of the James gang.

JJ - Jesse James

FJ - Frank James

CM - Clell Miller

JY - Jim Younger, or John Younger.

the photo with the back to back jj is over a rockhouse or small cave,i thought above the jj looked like a pickaxe to me but its granite floor. found rock turkey on property trying to get photos.any input grateful, thanks yall

     I am not the original poster here, I just remembered seeing this thread a long time ago and the TV show about Jesse James the other night reminded me of it. There is a pretty good discussion about it at this link if you would like to read it.
