417 Relic Hunters, is offering a FREE class on Metal Detecting.  It’s a six month course that will teach you the basics of metal detecting.  Topics covered will be:
•    History of Metal Detecting
•    Types of Metal Detectors
•    Operation of Detectors
•    Tools of the Hobby
•    How to Dig Holes
•    Gaining Permission
•   Researching Locations
•    Purchasing a Metal Detector
   ….and More!
Participants will get REAL hands on instruction from the area’s most experienced and successful Detectorist.  At the end of the course, you will get to hunt side by side at an actual location with the more experienced detectorist showing you their individual tips. 

Also upon graduation, participants will be invited to attend our Advanced Metal Detecting Class starting in the fall.

100% Free.  There will be no pressure to buy anything (really nothing for sale) Nothing to join or sign up for.  Simply our way of teaching people about our hobby!
