I was able to be invited to hunt last weekend in Virginia with 124 other people. It rained all weekend and was cold, but the relics and coins were everywhere. I found a 1862 Princess Head $1 Gold coin and a 1876-CC Seated LibertyQuarter with a hole in it. I found a lot of relic's as well, but the coins caught the attention of the people. I was able to meet up with old friends and make new ones. It was a great time

Very nice. Was this a club hunt? Planted area or were you just lucky enough to snag that gold coin? If so then that would be a banner day for me or anyone for that matter. Way to go...Congrats.... thumbsup      jgas

When I first read your story, I wondered why you didn't write with more enthusiasm, considering this is the find of a lifetime.  I then put myself in your shoes and realized that you were probably a little tired from jumping up and down and screaming a lot.

Seriously though....Congratulations of the find of a lifetime.
