Honestly, I know very little about Pietersite other than it is a 'mix' of minerals. I think Jasper and possibly two others. It comes in a wide variety of colors. The most distinguishing characteristic is its capacity to flash metallic looking colors as light moves across it's surface. I bought this one literally for pennies on the dollar. I think $2.99 with free shipping.
Truly a spectacular polished stone.

Yea, I think I did get it in the bamboo mail. I can't believe how inexpensive the slave labor over there makes things available to us. But in the mean time, buy buy buy.

Sorry, I believe I sent it to CentralFldigger awhile ago.

Check out Ebay. Sometimes you can get lucky bidding.
