It is true piggy, it is not false. Like you yourself said that we are building the rigs, but we are not the ones drilling. That is what is upsetting me. We have more untapped resources here than anywhere else in the world. Yet we give jobs to other nations instead of lookin' out for our own folks.
The whole world is in an economic downfall, yet we rush and boost other's economy by creating jobs for them when we could do it here and save money, not only by drillin' ourselves, but at the pumps also.
http://www.factcheck.org/2009/09/bogus-brazilian-oil-claims/"The e-mail is false on two counts.
The message falsely says the decision was due to an "executive order" by the president. No presidential order was required. Furthermore, none of President Obama’s appointees had joined the Ex-Im board at the time of the vote, which was unanimous, and bipartisan. The Ex-Im Bank states: "In fact, at the time the Bank’s Board consisted of three Republicans and two Democrats, all of whom were appointed by George W. Bush."
The message falsely claims that "we have absolutely no gain" from the loan. In fact, the loan is being made specifically to finance purchase by Petrobras of U.S.-made oilfield
equipment and services. The mission of the Ex-Im Bank is to encourage exports by making such loans"
This business loan has nothing to do with drilling or not drilling in the US or about taking
away US jobs.
It's a loan given to produce jobs in the US and profit to US companies.
It is just one of thousands of overseas loans the import export bank makes each year.
That's what it's in business for.
Do you think Mac that the US got big by just doing things for itself in an isolationist fashion
as every post you make suggests.
Give up on these junk emails Mac.
