Hello members; been dormant for a while being busy with school but starting to get back in the Tnet.com community; missed ya folks
Another piece of ordnance I've dug of with the Vaquero this summer was a german 7.92 round marked E K, which I've narrowed down to the Greek Powder and Carthridge Company, under contract by the Nazis during WW2.  And something better, is what I'm pretty positive to be a grenade fuse; although it was near the German round, I'm not sure if it is German as well.
Anybody know what grenade model this might be from?  The handle looks like its made from tin or iron and its almost rusted out, but still hinged at the top.  The top of the fuse (no top view sorry) is flat and pretty big compared to other fuses I've seen; maybe it could help in the ID.  Could an intact fuse such as this still be dangerous without the main charge?  When digging it up part of the metal handle separated when pulling it out of the hole and I had no idea what this was for a couple of minutes.  When i saw the threads, it dawned on me and i was happy i didn't tamper with it like an idiot.  I buried it a week later for fear of it still being dangerous
