I have used the Tiger Shark with the fantastic Clean Sweep Coil and wonder if anyone uses the Sand Shark with this coil.  I found the coil to be a coin and ring magnet with the Tiger Shark.  To bad it isn't made for the Tiger anymore, but is for other Tesoro's.

Here's the pic, I modified the post to include it after you asked for it.

Hello,
Could you post a photo of that coil please? Thanks in advance.

Kind Regards,

I wish they did still make it for the Tiger Shark. I have one I use with a Cutlass II on the dry sand.

Hello,
Technically, we do have a coil for the Tiger....just use a land coil.

You can use a "Standard (µMax models)" coil on the Tiger Shark....  All you need is the water adapter, which is not listed on our website currently.  This connector is not water proof, but the coil is.  Hope that helps...

Casey, if the adaptor isn't listed on the web site then where can we purchase one?

    Thanks,

Hi,
I will find out, and let you know.  It should be noted that the adapter is not water proof.  So, the coil can be submerged, but only up to the adapter.

You may be able to find one through one of our dealers, or distributors.  We do not sell direct. The part # is: L/W Adapter

If you are unable to find one, we will be manufacturing them shortly....as soon our new connectors are back in production.

If you are unable to locate one, just send me an email so I can place you on my waiting list.  I will call or email anyone who is interested in the adapter when they become available.  I also have a list for those who are waiting for the Tiger or Sand Sharks....

Mr Casey,
When the new water proof connectors are tested and sanctioned by Tesoro will you guys make a water proof clean sweep available for us?

Thanks and kind regards,
Steve

Whoops, I did say "water proof adapter", which is INCORRECT.  Thanks for catching that.

I meant to say 'water adapter'.  I did ask the engineer here to be sure, the land-to-water adapter is NOT water proof.

Casey, i thought i read it right but wanted to be sure you posted this earlier...

One of the places to order this adapter cord to connect the Clean Sweep Coil from the land detectors to the Tiger Shark is at
http://cgi.ebay.com/Tesoro-Tiger-Shark-Adapter-Cord_W0QQitemZ220388113096QQcmdZViewItemQQptZLH_DefaultDomain_0?hash=item335027bac8 Please note that this adapter cord is not WATERPROOF, but it will allow you to cover large sections of the sand in shorter amounts of time to beat the others to the goodies.  The CSC pinpoints off the tip or heel real easy so your not wasting time digging.

Good Luck,
Sandman
