Alright, it's a rainy, crappy day.  Doesn't look like too many got out today.  I suppose I'll post my humble finds from yesterday's hunt just so you have something new to look at.  I hit a couple of groves and over the course of several hours, found these:

Finds.jpg

The bottle is very cool!  I actually found it a few days ago at the same grove I hunted yesterday.  While the neck is whole, unfortunately the back and much of the bottom have broken away.  I think I'm going to keep it as it will still display nicely.  Smiley

I was able to squeak out a couple of Rosies:

Also picked up a cool old buckle with an interesting design on the back

Buckle.jpg

half of a Princess Pat compact, an whatsit, a star in a circle that after talking to Jon I think is part of a belt buckle, and two junk rings.  One of them is a Pisces ring, and that's my sign.  Smiley  What's your sign, baby? Roll Eyes

Pisces.jpg

The gold colored thing is pot metal with some kind of plating on it and the letter "C".  I think it was probably adorning a bottle of higher class booze at some point.

Thanks for checking this out!  Here's hoping that we get some better hunting weather soon and HH to all! Wink

God bless our veterans!  Thank you for your sacrifices!

Very cool Neil!  Is that stud and buckle from saddle or harness hardware?

Hey tell me something.
Does Pisces rhyme with reesies or ricees, or is it ricees or reesies?  Sounds fishy to me.

Hey, I got a million of 'em, no one else wants 'em.....

It's a squirrel gun, get it?

Your "non-coinage" finds are definitely worth the hunt. . . (and cooler than the Rosies Roll Eyes)

Maybe tomorrow afternoon will brighten up enough for some  icon_pirat  fun.

Humble finds??  Yeah right.... you wanna see humble finds, just look into the deep dark void of nothingness at the bottom of my pouch.  Grin
Congrats on the cool relics and 2 more Rosies!!!  thumbsup

I've been doing a rain dance backwards trying to clear up the weather, but I must be mocking the gods as it's just getting worse out there.

I agree... the star thing looks like a kids sheriff badge to me.
