You did good. Looks like what I usually find here in Italy, minus the gold, Roman, Byzantine, and bronze age bits, of course. Europe is fantastic for us diggers. I have to check if my machine is working if I don't get a signal in three minutes. Okay, they aren't all keepers, but at least they aren't pull tabs. Been mostly in the forest, so some holes are half hour affairs dealing with roots, rocks, and worms.

CONGRATS.

Roman Gold Coin has now moved up to Wish List No.3, its near on impossible to get from the Roman sites we found, but maybe one day Undecided

What sort of site was it, the Roman Silver to Gold ratio seems low in my mind.  Why a gold from this site?

This is definately a banner find icon_thumright icon_thumright

Banner that gold coin again!..And what are some of the uses of the pieces, like the box and the decorated charm jewelery piece. And some dates if you know them would be nice too. I love that box.

Next year I'm hitting the corn and wheat fields, after I clean out the local old house sites and other sites I have my eye on, that I already have permission to play around on.

The "box" is a pedestal for a bronze statue from close you can see where the two legs used to be. The charm looking pieces are most likely belt decorations. Some rings and the bulky ring looking thing is actually is a silver ring just out of the cast, and never been finished. Didn't looked silver almost throw ed away, but just didn't sounded like iron. All made around the 1-4Th century. The silver ring could be medieval  Hey Constatinus this is the pedestal you missing from your statue??!!
