As some of you know I can't post finds as I go in the summer time, no wifi. So I'll post my finds now in groups.

Here are 8 tokens I found this summer in Northern Wi.

If anyone has any info on them I'd appreciate ya telling me!

The 2 that have Wi. towns on them are not in the WI Trade Token book. One is Kempster & the other is Marshfield. The Emil Matuschka I found near Conover Wi.

In 1910 Emil Matuschka was a bartender in Milwaukee.  I suspect this token is from a bit later than this when he opened his own business.

Emil Matuschka is listed as a saloon in Milwaukee in the 1918 Dun.

Seger,  the swastika/good luck token is very cool.  Probably from the 1920's also?

Is there a better hobby than metal detecting? I didn't think so.

Yeah, I was thinking maybe the 30's, pre WWII anyway. Don't know if that would have gone over very big after Hitler!

I am not sure about the tokens from your area, but I really like those pictured in the third and fourth pictures for pure pizazz.

"In this fragment, entitled "Wheaty Pennies of the Underground," this person introduces himself, his views, and tries to explain the causes owing to which he has made his appearance and was bound to make his appearance in our midst, talking about dirty wheaty pennies. -Editor"

After the American"Bund" party arose the Swastika die faded away,so by the 30's they were no longer used.they use to be a very common die"the don't worry club",i have one from 1910...Nice find's,good luck&HH ALL!!!
