I found this on craigslist for anyone looking to buy a treasure boat. Its the black drum formerly owned by mike maguire,i sold it to bruce for around 50k a few years ago.Now hes asking 15k for it,sounds ike a bargain to me,id buy it if i didnt already have a boat.

Millions of dollars of Spanish treasure await those who would dare brave the eye of the hurricane.

I can't believe you used the words "boat" and "bargain" in the same sentence...

Frankly the economy has hit everyone hard. It is an interesting paradox that the said Treasure Boat lost about 35 grand in value..approx. 75%. After living here on the sandy isthmus for over Eight Years now, I do not believe I read any story anywhere about Treasure Hunters finding $35,000. in Treasure.

Makes me wonder if maybe it could be used as a shrimp boat.

 Cool

The 2 diesel engines and the generator is worth alot more than 15k.You could take off the blowers and dive gear and use the boat for charter fishing trips or a shrimp boat.

Thanks Scott.  Would you like to buy the boat for me to use in the Bahamas?  The return could be huge for the risk taker that supports me..  Dell

This boat truly is a steal!   blob1

Yes, the cheapest thing about a boat is usually purchasing it.

But, if the CAT motors run and the boat isn't sitting on the bottom
at at current bidding price any boater can not go wrong with this
in my opinion = for whatever it is worth.... hello2

It would cost about that much just to fabricate the blowers!   icon_thumright

Wow, $10,000 Buy-It-Now for a fiberglass CC Commander with all that gear.

Update:
It still didn't sell after two attempts.

More beam would be nice, but what a cool looking boat.

*EDIT*  I just noticed that the ad states hull, deck, and cabin are aluminum.
