A laughable gem site posted this 'ruby' cabochon for $41.00.

Others were as high as $250. for what I consider 'garbage'. I mean there were eye visible chunks of inclusions which were polished!

It pays or I should say saves to do your homework and truly educate oneself before buying stones.

The market determines value, and I guess one mans garbage is another mans treasure. But I mean really is this 'stone' worth $41.00?

                  Some folks will 'buy anything'.
On Catalina Island they used to sell Gold painted 'buffalo dung' to the tourists.

What was it that P.T. Barnum said   Huh?   Smiley
lol

but; seriously .......in the eye of the beholder, and all that  Smiley

When you get into a tight place and everything goes against
you till it seems you could not hold on a minute longer,
never give up then for that is just the place and time that
the tide will turn.
