Nice find. headbang  I was starting to  wonder if the MXT would find small gold like that. I just started looking for gold with my MXT, so that's great news to here that it finds small gold. icon_thumright
What depth did you find that little nug at?

Thanks,
daleshark.

the small nugget was on a ridge at about 3 inches deep
it gave a small zipp in prospecting mode
the mxt will find small nuggets  headbang
good hunting just get out there & find them
& remember you cant find gold unless its under the coil..

thank you.. yes you have to listen to hear small nuggets , good headphones help a lot..
ive found hundreds of small nuggets over the years
you have to listen for a small repeatable zipp signal
a large nugget at depth sounds like a small 1 so i allways listen to small signals
good hunting
p.s the mxt is a killer on rings too  thumbsup

Pretty nice for the MXT at 3 inches . Credit to the operator as well .  icon_thumright

Nice, but thats not small, don't know what coil you were using but with the 6" eliptical you can find them smaller than that with a MXT.
