Getting closer to that diamond ring!

I found this earring today and I'm not sure if it's real or not. I have alot of time on my hands, being laid off and all, so I've been taking the kids to some parks and I metal detect while they play.

It says something on the back but I can't tell what.

Oh, and found this yesterday but I'm pretty certain it's fake. It just doesn't look real to me. Someone lost a piece of their bling.

Have it checked out it looks like a Sapphire.

That's what my wife said. Even if the earring is real how much do you think it is worth? I had someone tell me five or ten bucks.
