Detector used Detector(s) Used - Ace 250, automaxx pinpointer, garrett pro pinpointer

Posted Nov 07, 2009, 05:40:11 pm

I have an Ace 250 also and it gets frustrating sometimes since I am a newbie but I keep going out here and there. Today I found my first silver, 2 quarters. I also found 2 pennies, a rusty nail and a zipper. So at least the kids won't land on the nail at the playground. I used my headphones, and a new Radio Shack 10 dollar  volume adapter. I set my sensitivity to 4 bars and I had a better time than last week when it was at 8 bars.

Congs on your first silver. I have heard the Ace 250 is a decent machine. The first is only the start now there will be more to come....Matt

Good job. I found my first and second yesterday as well. I keep mine turned up all the way. At first I had it on 4 or 5 bars but crazyjarhead told me I'll miss too much that way. I don't think I would have found the barbers yesterday with it at 4 or 5. It's definitely not as accurate on telling you what it is though.
