Detector used Detector(s) Used - Spectrum XLT

Like most of us we have a beginning to our detecting story.  All of us met that guy who bought a detector and never had luck or time so he never picked it up again.  Well I started at 13 years old and all I had was time.  The luck part came shortly after.  I thought I would post a image of my area I had to detect in my area.  Everything was walking distance and mostly virgin ground.  The first location was the ball field.

I started at age 13 as well--and walked to all of the places I detected for the first few years.  I found a place near a long-vanished railroad depot where travelers would lay out and watch the river go by on sunny days.  I also found a baseball field (now a cow pasture) in use from the twenties through WWII.  It is amazing how much there is to find close by where many of us live.  Came in mighty handy before I could legally drive a car!   Smiley

Best Wishes,

Buckles
