6:45 EST 11-6-09   Took off to get  out for a while ,beautiful day ,no bugs ,prime time .here ,back East.   Make the best of everyday, this time of year.  Things will change within a month .   Found some interesting relics and 2  KG's   1717 ,1723 .  4 lb. Cannonball ,  iron ,lead shot ,buttons .Silver ring ,Fairmount Inn Token ?, pocket watch and chain.Third pic ,bottom right ,quartz arrowhead ,wagon parts, and every kind of square nail .    Thought I would share this with  you . Hope you enjoy  coffee2

With a haul like that, I'd be breaking out the notebook and old maps to find out & make note of who lived there.  Or maybe you already did.

Thank You , Yes indeed ,some aches, only two pictures worth of digs ,not to bad ,I have a big shovel and in a remote place  I can dig deep,fast & still keep the place the way I found it . Moist topsoil too.     Thanks for your interest .

Any fellow Old School Fisher User is a friend of mine.  Great finds you posted!  The cannonball is first rate.  The pocket watch is great, and of course the coppers are lovely too.  What do you make of the oddly shaped brass piece in the first photo?  Musket decoration?
