You have had a great year so far! I really like that cob!

My last few years I've only averaged 1 Spanish a year and a 1600s traders token would be extr rare here, something I don't expect to ever see happen.

I bet you'll have a few more good finds to post before the year's end.

I'm as dirty as I look!

It would be easy to pick the Token out as the Best of your 2009 finds Tongue but I really like the hart shaped piece(Brooch dontknow) and the Scorpion mount Shocked...Take care Smiley

Other than some drawers full of scrap. This is my total deal so far from 1/1/09 to 11/18/09.I'll even through the old gator I put together from his bones I found. The rest of him is in the little cooler other then his head I still have not got back to find cause of the water being so mess up to see.
Also buckets of lead sinkers and such not included.
Also buckets of copper and brass not included.

I've been studying my finds of late and think there are more 1600's era finds in these finds. They are often compared as mid-to late 18th century but if I see what I see from the jamestown settlements finds then some of these could easly be that old to if looking is comparing.I just picked a few to compare with in these shots with out diging all I think are out.Like I say some are for sure and some may not be.
