Detector used Detector(s) Used - what ever works

Posted Nov 07, 2009, 01:28:24 pm

We found several flat buttons like the one on the left at a old foundation .
The object on the right is the size of a half dollar
It seems to have a lead back ,its heavy The front is smooth with beveled edges.
There is no shank on the back but something was mounted to the back , slightly off center.
If it is a button how old might it be.   Thanks Mike

I would say it is a civilian bridal rosette.
