Detector used Detector(s) Used - what ever works

Posted Nov 07, 2009, 09:48:51 am

Hunted two sites today first site i got the key and a silver spoon [not shown]
Site #2 a old foundation hit the three flat buttons and the object in the middle
It is the size of a half dollar with hammer marks on it . I think the back is lead
because its heavy. Is it a button ? There is no loop on the back but something
broke of the back and was a little off center. Thanks Mike

Hey Mike,

Nice finds!  Not sure about the object in the center.  At first glance, it appears to be a button of some sort, especially if you think something broke off of the back...  I'm not for certain..   dontknow

Keep hunting!

Nice Clock Key, Can't help with the "Button" If it's lead backed possibly a Rosette but I can't judge the size, maybe a pic of the back and measurement would help.  HH  Bob
