Both The Eagle & the Indian from Before gave
the Exact Same signal.

I Double Checked a Late Indian
 it came up copper range.
So it's Definately the Early ones

they are .880 Copper
.120 Nickel
4.67 Grams

Compared to

.950 Copper
.050 tin and Zinc
3.11 Grams starting 1864

Nice finds, Jeff, seems like your area turns up a lot of those pigeon bands. I finally found one the other day and thought of you.   

You could always electrolyze that Indian completely and then retone it.  Sort of cheating, but it might come out looking decent.   Nice find, unusual to dig one of those in any condition.

Yep I Believe most Discriminate the Early Indians out
considering what they sound like.

the 63 indian I Got the other day
wouldn't even Repeat at 2 to 3 inches.

this one was about 7" down
sounded like brass or even Lead gave a number like
small brass or cantab.

But when your digging like this :
