Went back to a site that gave up a lot of buttons . I was hoping for a coin,no luck but more buttons. The largest is bigger than a half dollar. Any guess on the age of the buckle in the middle . HH Mike

Wonderful finds. Man, I love seeing those iron buckles come out of the ground, and they're so much harder to come by intact like this one is. It looks as though its a steel oval knee buckle from about 1760, maybe a decade or two later. The anchor part of the chape has broken off. Again, great find!

I don't think this one is iron, just got iron residue, these are mostly copper-alloy.
