Detector used Detector(s) Used - BH, Prizm IV, Tesoro Cortez!

Posted Nov 10, 2009, 07:22:21 am

wandered into the woods surrounding a soccer complex near me, just for the hack of it. I didn't expect to get many signals, as the grassy weeds were pretty thick. Suddenly started getting large iron signals. Lots of old cans, barbed wire bits and big pieces of iron. Didn't have a lot of time as I had to leave the area for work. I did take this one find with me. It looks like some kind of hand crank for an old pump or something. I posted it in the what is it section: http://forum.treasurenet.com/index.php?topic=282315.new   Here's one of the pics. Any Ideas?

Thanks, Jim

With a name like "Arctic" I would have guessed ice-cream too.  I found a similar crank to an ice-cream maker in a dump near us.  Nice find. icon_thumright

Ice cream never entered my mind...I was thinking part of a  meat grinder or something Huh

Picked up a few more items earlier today before work.... problem is most items are packed with dirt and 100's of ants... didn't want to put them in my car trunk! I'll figure something out... stay tuned!
