haven't posted at all lately cuz i been on a plain flat button roll it seems.not really worth posting but,
went out today with Frank.started out as another button day   Undecided at the first site.a couple big designed tombacs and a tiny plain one
then finally got a nice coin signal in a low area very wet there.
ended up being a toasty Massachussetts copper.tied my last years total now of 32 large coppers.  hello2
next site gave up the pocket watch winder, merc, wheaties, a lead "Y" and a ton of brass targets.the 2nd site is colonial too but lived in up until much later than the 1st site.seems like alot of victorian era brass stuff at 2nd cellar hole

Looks like a nice place to detect.

Enough silverware for a camp set.

Love to find one of those colonial american coppers. Don't know what the chances would be around here, but certainly possible.

Nice digs once again dude...  The watch winder looks similar to the one I dug a while back.  I think it is an earlier one than all the common ones and had a 90 degree angle.

I am just as impressed with the area you guys have to hunt in as I am your finds!   Having a wooded area with an open floor and room to walk between the trees....that's amazing.
Down here, the underbrush is so think (most of the time with nasty stuff, like green briars, poison ivy and a variety of poke ya, stick ya, hurt ya, stuff!!!!

hello2  Quite an accomplishment between last year and this year, I never would see that many old coppers in a year.  I think you will be remembering these years for many years to come and some day they will be, "remember back when"  thumbsup
