Hello All,

It was a beautiful day, so any finds are a bonus on this day.  I dug a nice Anchor Pin that is all there including the pin.  A nice Buckle that was deep and under roots( We all have been there). A nice 1859 Indian Head came to light. A couple of Buffalo Nickels one with a date of 1937 and one with out a date. Some silver a 1941 Washington Quarter and a 1909O Barber Dime. I also dug something that looks like a coin but not sure what it is, rough shape it is. I posted it on the Whats It section for any help. Overall a decent day.  Thanks for looking.

    Hello All,

Thanks for looking and thanks for the great words.  The little coin at the bottom is soaking in olive oil.  Be nice to see what it is.  I had a half hour due to restrictions on searching at the one site where the 1859 Indian was found.  That is the same site where I found all the Colonial Coppers and Large Cents in great shape. It does seem like coppers come out that area well perserved .

    Happy Hunting,

Looks like a capped bust half dime to me. I think you can see part of the shield lines on the reverse. Let us know what you find out. Way to go! Great stuff.
