Say, what's that big coin next to the quarters... looks to big to be a quarter. Could it be an old copper?? Would like to see a closer pic of it.

I found this property that is sandwiched between the railroad and the beach, I don't think anyone has been on the property before with a metal detector, to answer your question the elongated coin is a quarter that someone place on the track. In this are the chance of finding an old copper is very slim. Thanks for looking. Pat in San Clemente CA |

My one and only silver dollar found is a 1923 peace dollar. Found in my own yard 2 yrs. after buying my house.
I'd be happy with those finds.
