Imo it's possibly a plummet or possibly a geofact that looks like one. It's interesting whatever it may be, I would have brought it home too.

     Native american weeble wobble??? I don't have a clue but I want to tag along and see if it gets IDed. (and I would have brought it home too!)

Is it symetrical, evenenly rounded all the way around?

Plummet is what I was thinking as well.  It is symetrical and evenly rounded...definitely not a geofact.

     Might be a fancy nutting stone or maybe a pestle. Is that a groove in it or is it raised? I can't tell from the pic.
