Posted in Fisher and White's also. I'm looking for a dedicated gold machine. What can you tell me about the Lobo or another Tesoro gold machine? I'm trying to decide on brand and model. I'm also looking at Whites and Fisher. I've been a Garrett fan for a while, but may be inclined to go with a higher freq machine than the Scorpion. Any opinions?

The LST is good and can be used for all around. The GMT is a little better on smaller gold but it is strickly a gold machine. They both will out do the scorpion and the scorpion is a real hassell to change batteries in.IMO

Thanks for the reply. You're right about the battery hassle on the Scorpion. I sold the Scorpion I had, didn't think I would need it, but now I am definitely going to get a gold machine. I have all the other machines I need. I just want a dedicated gold machine.
