Hope TN's military members got out to Applebees today.  It was a long wait, but it was well worth it, they gave us a veterans pin, another type of pin and any child with a veteran received a coloring book. The food was great too.

I drove by one on the way home, the line was unbelievable...

I've seen these promotions before, Disney and Knotts both have had them. My question is how do you prove military service short of carrying your DD214 in with you?

I had my retiree ID card and my American Legion membership card... I never leave home without em.  Never know where you may get a discount...I believe Lowes had a 10-15% off purchase today too.

I went to my local Applebee's last night. It was packed. However, Veterans are used to waiting....
The staff was running smoothly and I was able to meet several fellow Veterans. Some older than me and some who weren't even born when I served. All are good hardworking American Patriots! 

I plan on going to Golden Corral on Monday.
