Several years ago I was with a Boyscout group walking down The Lost Mine trail in Big Bend and being scouts they were complaning around a bend in the trail I saw 2 hikers comming up and behind them 3 hikers or "wheelers" as they called them selves,in modified chairs(trail chairs) these guys made it to the top about 4 hours after we had made it down,we were talking to them later that day and they said that the chair has never slowed them down.

Capt. thanks he does love to hunt we took him to a couple of over night hunts before his surgery and he loves to hunt in the dark his first one a couple of years ago he was like HOW do you hunt in the dark and wanted me to stay with him, Within 5 minutes I looked and he was gone, now he will come ck on me and say grandma do you need me to help YOU!   Kiss  Makes me really good!

Thanks 4-H its easy to  do things like that every body needs to experience things, and so what if they need a little help, they can do it anyway!

Thanks everyone !  Today he got rid of the walker and is using one crutch!  Things are getting back to normal, I was watching them this evening and at bedtime he was saying  grandma grandma watch this ...   he sat on the edge of his bed and started rocking for momentum ...rolled his feet up and put them on the wall behind him!   Like I said things are starting to get back to normal  laughing7
