Met up with Mark and Neil this morning.... They were running about a 1/2 late so I asked if they wanted to meet at a closer spot.
I was right there so I started hunting with out them...Come on !!!! What was I suppose to do...My coffee was gone...I didn't have to go to the bathroom and it was a big field..... Let's go for it....
About a 1/2 later they showed up... In the mean time.....
    I pulled up a couple wheaties and the a 1941 Merc.....and a 1945 Merc in about a 25 foot area....We hunted till noon.
I managed to step in a Mud puddle ( Mini Swamp ) wearing( jim Huh) Gym shoes... My right foot was soaked but I stuck it out for a while.

I got 5 wheaties and 2 Mercs. and about a $1 in change.....
I wanted the 3rd lady but it was nowhere to be found...today...

That's what you get for wearing Jim's shoes...   laughing7

Seriously though Bob.. Nice score on the 2 ladies!  Don't feel guilty about digging 'em early. At their age, Mark and Neil are just a bit slower in the morning.... Wait,,, that sounds like me...  laughing7

Early bird gets the worm!  Sweet silver in the morning, nothing quite like it to get the blood pumping... well, there's always a wet muddy shoe in the afternoon to cool things down.  I got some waterproof boots from Farm N Fleet that are warm and don't leak for anything... Love 'em!
