Hey nice, interesting pendant. Congrats  hello2 hello2 hello2 Looks almost like an "e' or a "3"?
My take was a Mercury dime which I'm cleaning right now.

I'm expecting some better hunting over the next few days.

bigp2, are you guys getting any erosion down there in So. CA?  Like, are you seeing cuts or slopes or scallops forming?

Up here (central CA) the seas didn't pick up till too late in the day to fully coincide with today's high tides.   In the coming days, the factors are looking to be good  icon_thumleft

Metal detecting is my one worldy vice!

The silver pendant is the Tibetan OM symbol.

Here is a link with similar charms.

I'm stuck here in India on a project at the moment, without my detector!  So observing is about as far as I can go, and that symbol is everywhere.  It resembles Hinduism, the religion most indians believe in.  "Om" means god to hindus.  You often find sloagans like "Om sai ram" or "Om Shanti" pointing more specifically to one of their gods...  Very interesting...
