Baron,
You've got the Mosin/Nagant M91/30.  Great gun, but wear earplugs.  The thing CRACKS LOUD!!!  But, it has a pretty good muzzle velocity.  2700 fps.
The carbine is the M38.
The M91/30 in the picture with the blue sheet looks like it was set up with a scope (scope removed).  Bent bolts were used on scoped 91/30's so when it was opened, the bolt would clear the scope.  Watch "Enemy at the Gates"....they use the 91/30 in it...a lot!  Zeitsev's 91/30 is on display (I believe in Leningrad).

Right now I am, but before I was even more...or less.

Florida pics sure look good!  Sort of like what it was like last Monday here in the Windy.  Modern rifles?  Always leaned toward flintlock trade guns mself.  Cloud of smoke kept the skeeters down, good place to hide from the real shooters in the club!

VERY nice. I just picked up a Russian M44 in new with matching numbers.

I bought a --deleted--TON of 762x54r ammo about two years ago when cheaper than dirt was unloading that nice bulgarian light ball ammo.
I have 91 30 as a shooter. that thing is FUN.

The ammo is starting to get pricey again, though.

I got the 91 30 with matching numbers and a Nagant revolver for $99 each at RGuns in Carpentersville Il.
They are one of the official importers.  It is a short drive so I save on shipping charges.
They have soviet ammo --440 rounds for $90 and Hotshot ammo for the revolver --50 rounds for $25.   Should be a blast after the thaw.

I always thought that was a neat little pistol. Especially how it seals the cylinder. Makes the trigger kinda long, but still a neat gun.

Once I got the revolver in my hand I had to have it.
It feels so good and balanced.  I checked out a few and bought the one with the smoothest trigger pull.   The trigger pull is not as bad as I feared.  The Russians used it for 70 years so how bad could it be.
