I had a friend show up at a place I was detecting, he had never tried a metal detector.  I got him going with my back up and he dug nails, wire, foil etc.  Right before we get done, he shows up with something in his hand.  He doesn't know what it is.  I take a look tell him buffalo no wait, even older.  He found a 1900 V.  The first coin he ever recovered with a metal detector.   I hate to tell you how many years it took me to find one.  Good job, I know they are hard to bring up.
