one deer is about to have a very very bad day --for folks who think a quick fast shot from a hunter is cruel --they should see whats about to occur in real life -- gimme a bullet any day.
to have caught "the fight / kill" on camera would have been outstanding --the photo is amazing --if it flashed brightly--that might have spooked the cat and saved the deers life

That is one cool shot. One question is that located near you. If it is I think I'll carry more than a digger.

Did ya'll see the pic from a deer cam that showed a cat dragging a buck? I wonder if it was from the same camera, same pair. Someone sent it to my husband's phone, but claimed it was taken locally. Nature at work is an awsome thing.

My first doubt was how could the Lion get so close. I figure if its a real pic the lion was already moving in fast and it was just b-4 the strike.
See if you can get that pic NG love to see it

The Mountain lion population is getting very large in OK & AR, I just saw two cross the road while I was looking for fossils last week, & a crew of men who were stacking rocks on pallets ran down the hill to a ranchers house screaming "there's a mountain lion watching us from a nearby bluff".

That pic of the lion dragging the deer was one I posted. It supposidly came from a game camera attached to a small tree so the hunter could watch his feeder. A doctor in OK City told my soe it was his property out in western Oklahoma. He bought the property to establish a hunting camp for his family and friends. My son is a personal trainer and the doctor is his client. He also posted it on the web and I am sure many people have copies of it by now. I don't know the doctor but I do know my son is truthful. I can't verifiy the doctor's story though. Monty
