I had forgotten about the Bat Creek Stone from Tellico. TVA impounded so much land under water and buried thousands of sites along the Tennessee and Tellico rivers. We have fishing maps that show all the mounds under the water. In the winter when they drop the water you can still find many mounds and old islands sticking up above or at water level. Many boats hit them and bust their props because they are in the middle of a giant lake and at the top of the mound its only 3 inches deep. You dont see them unles you know they are there.
Thanks Uni. Its a shame they do not even know which mound or exactly where the site is underwater anymore.
 Have a great Holiday.
