My friends Bayonet, what kind is it ?

This is my friends bayonet, it was given to him by a family member. He wonders how old it is, and if it is valuable or not.

I amy be wrong, bt it looks french, franco prussian war period.

Good ID I would have just guessed Turn of century to WW1
