Heres a few Oriental bottles that I dug up within the last month. I found out that the green one is an old chinese beer bottle and it says "wingleewai" on the front and I also found some old bottle tops with chinese characters on them. thank you
Thanks for sharing the photo's. cool stuff . By the way, those painted caps are sought after by collectors. They were for Sake bottles. Dig on my friend and keep posting what you find. I'm definitely interested. Ringman.

Hi there Ringman, went digging today and got this clear chinese bottle and also dug up the milky white one which has chinese characters on the bottom. Have you seen these ones before?
All the best.

Howzit going bc, There are so many variations of oriental medicines, it's mind boggling. There are two collectors here in Hawaii who have approx. 500 to 600 different bottles. Anyway, I've not seen the clear one, it looks very nice and clean. I have found many of the eight sided milk glass bottles with the characters on the base. I am told they contained cold cream for women. Keep digging, looks like you're got a great spot. Check out the "Hawaii" section of this forum. I'm trying to get collectors to post pictures of their bottles. We find tons of oriental stuff here in the islands. Take it easy Ringman

Ringman, Some of my orientals from the Big Island. I am still looking for the green medium size T. Machida. The barrel bottles are the K. Akahoshi medicines. You can also see a few Ishii Drug Store to include the small o misspelled Isii. I am going back to Hilo for the holidays. I will try to find a spot for the gang so we can all fly over and pound some sites. HBF
