Spent a few days of vacation on Longboat Key in Florida.  It was raining most of the time, but we managed to get in a couple hours of detecting on the beach.  Found a paper clip, part of a pencil, and some unidentifiable metal junk...but I managed to snap this picture of what I am most thankful for this Thanksgiving Day.  The photo is of my 12-year-old son and his ACE 250, doing the quiet, focused walk of the dedicated MD'ist at sunset, confident that there is always more treasure just a few steps away.

I'll be on Anna Maria Island for a week starting tomorrow.  Anna Maria and Longboat have some of the best (people free) beaches in Florida.

It's not about the treasure , It's about how you find it and where . Thats what you will remember for the rest of your life.
WTG on your hunt, may you find lots of treasure. icon_thumleft
