Hello SE Michigan here.

Found a 219 year old silver at my 50's park today. Dinged it a little, but was a
good hunt w/ surprisingly nice weather for this time of year.

great find.  To bad about the gouges.  Never tried it before, but I think if that were mine, I would figure out a way to re-tone it or lessen the gouges some other way.  There has to be a way.

Nice find!  I feel your pain...I shovel kissed the first 8 reale I found...but it really didn't bother me too badly.

Thanks all for looking. When I found it my heart litterally skipped a beat, have to
admit though my joy was somewhat tempered when I saw the dings. But
it is certainly sweet to have found a real oldie. Keep swinging never know
what might pop up.

Good luck,
HH.
