Hit one of my favorite beaches Sunday, lots of clad, not pictured,  hit a nice fat 8.7 grams of 14kt band and one small gold ( need to test it) religious metal.  I had a blast..  hunted with one eye, yes, I have a pirate patch on from eye surgery.. I seriously had a blast n a half.

Booty you are doing fine with the patch, maybe you should slip it back on even after the eye is healed.  I told you finding gold rings would come your way.  hello

Omg I love my excal, shoulda  gotten one 4 yrs ago.. but, better late then never...after the holidays, I am getting myself another one, will go with the 8 in. coil so I will have two and one as a backup, I dread having to send mine in for a check up when need be.

I have a goal.. hope to reach it before the new year.. I would dearly love to find a diamond ring or diamond bracelet. thats my goal.. and I am getting ready to send in my bands to be melted.. wohoo...   I love it..

My only problem is the scoopers.. I just cant seem to find a good one that doesnt weigh 4 lbs or more..no can do on that weight, so I got my lil aluminum one that works ok and am getting real good at pinpointing too.

Nice Gold BB, at 1167 a ounce, and that plat you found, all should get that 8 in , no problem. I have the 8 & the 10, love my 8, find more with it then the 10. Plus so much easier to handle in and out of the surf. PP is a breeze. And I hunt AM with it all the time, the next trip up I want to see you swinging so I can get more of the great female hunters on video...Ac is the place to BE!!
Good Luck...Joe

Got the patch on the right eye... few weeks will have it on the left eye..lol..  then I will be able to see alot better..

Hey, might as well look the part, right?

Joe, want the 8 in. as its at least a pound less in weight, easier to pp as I have used one before and will increase my hunting time.. ( evil grin on that one)  I am so addicted its not funny... considering getting my rain gear on and heading out..
