Went out with D-Dub this past Saturday and met up with Etrac007 and SkinnyPuppy at an old park.

I started finding IH after IH and then I had a funky broken up signal which peeped through a high silver tone.  So I dug down about 7 or 8 inches and popped out the 1907 full Libert Barber Quarter.  Also found a 1942-P War Nickel in the mix of clad.

IH's are: 1864, 1891, 1893, 1894, 1900, 1906, and one that is holed right through the date.  dontknow

    Enjoy and HH!

Except for it being so damn dark.  Tried soaking it in vinegarm but only cleaned it up a little bit.  Also tried some MS-65 on it, and this is about as clean I can get it.

That is actually a very nice looking tone.  I've seen some that were toned similarly being fairly highly rated.  Keep the chemicals off it!

Holy Crispity Crisps!  That's a SWEEEEEEET ass BBQ Jon!

I'd probably NOT do this... but if you don't care you can try to clean the black stuff off with ammonia.  I've left silver coins in ammonia for hours and never had it deteriorate the coin, but it doesn't always clean off the black stuff fully.  Depends on exactly what the black stuff is.

Congrats on a hoard of IH's too!  Nice park Smiley
